Be Glad, when you can…dedicated to the one I love

“Glad” what a strange word... It should describe a piece of refined plastic. Instead it describes the most exquisite state of momentary bliss.  "I am glad you are here... I am glad you told me... I am glad to have that happen...."

It doesn't mean that things are permanent; it just means that in that moment you have achieved a pause of satisfaction. The universe has come up to greet you; to offer you a gift of your manifestation. You have accepted it with your beingness and you are, well, glad.  It is not ego, it is rather an acknowledgement of gratitude towards the mystery of existence itself.

But what is the fine distinction of the odd word?  It's not exactly happy, that's too broad.  I'ts not content; too mellow.... and it's not as strong as joy, that's exuberance.  No glad is what one has with one's self; a shining from within.  And either you are or aren't feeling it.  There is no way to force it or fake it- to yourself... It is a transcendence of the body/mind ego, where being becomes feeling and there is a peace that passes all understanding.  In the gladness the self gets to rest in its embodiment of pleasant feelings for an impressionable moment… until the next human reflection arises.

But savior its momentary reflection. It is the brief ownership of life itself. In some ways it is the only peace we can achieve in the now....

The odd thing about gladness is that you can’t hold it. It slips through your awareness into the next moment of sensorial time. But when you got it grab it. It is like a wave rise sing up from depth of being itself, ride it high, until it breaks on the shore of the ongoing perceptions…  So the next time you have a sense of it. Sip it slowly. Taste all it like you do it like good wine. Hold it. Treasure it. And let it go...

You’ll be glad you did...
