Ordinary..
Just going through the DVD: 'European Spiritual Masters.’ http://www.openskypress.com/en/westernmasters/book.php
(I resonate with Rupert Spira.)
Couple of things I have noticed – from my point of view. So many so-called spiritual people, so serious. Not very genuinely alive (even including uniqueness.) Not my experience of life at all. More of a joke actually.
How many people do you know/have met that you feel are actually living in the ‘reality’ they are talking about? (Some for sure.)
An emptiness/fullness where you feel you can share anything at all – without a person being there to agree or disagree?
Some teachers so certain. Again, not my experience. The more I realise, (tiddly pom) the more I realise, how much I do not know – meaning, anything really. Always another ‘level’ popping up – that can cancel the whole of what was thought to be realised previously. Fun. I am open to the possibility that there is an absolute/enlightenment, and, as far as I know, I have not experienced it – so far anyway.
In fact, if there is such a state I don’t think it can be ‘experienced.’ Don’t know that though. "When the seer and the seer are one.” I do think it possible that that state ‘happens” but it is not ‘known' - until returning to what we call this reality. And even then, it is not certain where/if they/we have been. And I think there is a state (the sixth?) where it is known, can be in it, and still enough separateness to witness it. Not sure though. Of anything.
The ancient I have most respect for is Loa Tzu, who is quoted as saying things like: “Everyone seems so certain, and I walk as though upon thin ice."
Another thing I noticed for myself – is that all this talking feels like nonsense. So, I ask myself, how come you/I still share. What I got is that, who we call this person, Paul, does not answer questions, he answers people. So just answering theoretical questions feels – ridiculous, and nothing at all to do with anything. So when I write, or talk, it is to a person. (Often you!)
I like your questions on The State of the Planet Earth. And again, to me, nonsense. Not that I think you should not do it – both for you and the watchers/readers, but, again, to me, a very superficial level - which is where, it seems, we are living at the moment. And not much of what we call time left to wake up? to….?
Overall, you and I seem to see things very differently. Very. The way I am seeing things, at the moment anyway, is ordinary. Very, very ordinary.
Sending love…
