PROPHECIES REGARDING THE SACRED FEMININE by Grandmother Barbara Threecrow -
(art by Barbara Threecrow)“The answers we seek lie within the inner most circle - the sacred circles of women”
Returning to the center of the women’s circle fulfills a prophecy which brings us full circle to once again honor the sacred feminine. There are many circles forming throughout the world as women are now answering the grandmothers' call. We as women are to begin to fulfill our original agreement and lead the way to harmony and balance. It is said, that a time would come when women would change the patterns held by generations dominated by the patriarchal rule, and that there would come a time when the sacred circles would be mended, disharmony between men and women would be healed, and disregard of the sacred feminine no longer tolerated. Now is that time.
In order to help the earth, all of life and those we love, women must recall their original instructions as peace keepers and healers. Women are peace keepers, because they are givers of life. Women are the earth – we are mothers, sisters, aunts and grandmothers to all children of the earth. We are asked to create ritual and ceremony in which we honor our feminine lineage and heal the generations of disrespect and violence against the sacred feminine and our mother earth. By recalling sacred ways of living on the earth, we are guided toward deepening our relationship to Spirit. We are called to activate spiritual technology: the origin of illumination that holds the key to human’s survival. The origin of enlightenment is ever present and can be found through the act of love – peace - compassion and forgiveness. We are being given an opportunity to take responsibility to fulfill the ancient prophecy and realize the profound effect that our every word, act, and emotion has upon everything in existence.
We are called to sit together in sacred circles. The circle is an ancient universal symbol that signifies no beginning and no end. It is a form of sacred geometry that has always existed within all of creation and that will always remain. Through its natural flow the circle allows eye contact, an intimate heart connection and the feeling of oneness we each long for. Vibrating with wholeness, harmony and balance the circle unites each of us with the sacred mother’s divine flow that heals our deepest wounds. With joy we sing, offer prayers for All Mitakuye (all relations) and learn of the grandmothers' ways. In the circle we share our stories, our mothers' and grandmothers' stories and we observe the weaving of the web of life – the journeys we and our ancestors have traveled until this very moment in time.
This is a time of great changes. We are transitioning. The doorway of all possibilities is opened – what waits is a new possibility for life – a new age determined by what we dream it to be. Enter into the center of the sacred circle, attune yourself with the luminous energy emanating from the heart of the mother earth and from the celestial being. We have the power to manifest, we need only to step into the flow. Together we join our vision of peace and harmony upon the sacred web.
